Tryouts
Our goal is to be transparent about the game plan as our Missouri Bulls Organization continues to grow. Please read this over before registering your athlete for our tryouts. Our organization is currently made up of 27 teams, ages 7u-18u. Our established teams have a majority of players returning for the 2026-2027 season. Those teams are seeking the position players needed to contribute to their team in 2027. We intend to build additional teams this upcoming season as well, working toward an A, AA, AAA team in each age group. This will enable the appropriate level of play for each developing Bulls athlete and team. Note below that there is a non-refundable deposit due at the time of commitment to a Bulls team.

18u experience for 2027
From Todd-
My goal for our 18u Bulls is to create a unique experience for our 2027 SENIORS. This is the schedule format we have executed for the past 5 summers for our 18u Bulls, and it has been a good balance.
-Fall baseball (optional)
-Winter team training (Jan./Feb.)
-5 summer tournaments (half season- mid June-mid July)
My hope is to prepare you for your senior season and college prep, while also freeing up some time to spend with family and friends, senior trips and graduation celebrations. This has been a win-win for our senior families over the past couple of years, but each year we will continue to discuss a good balance for our 18u players and families.

Alternate Tryout Date:
If you are on vacation and are unable to attend your scheduled tryout day, please register for the alternate date below. This will take place PRIOR to the full tryout. Attending the regular tryout date is ideal if you are able to.
15u-18u baseball alternate–

If you are unable to make either tryout, a private tryout can be set up with Todd Pennington or Josh Cameron at The Dugout. The cost will be $66 for a 1 hour tryout for 9u & older, and space will be limited. A 30 minute private tryout is sufficient for 7u-8u and will cost $36. Missouri Bulls 2027 Team Information
What’s Included for 15u-18u?
• 10 weeks of 1x/week pre-season team training from Dec. to Feb.
• In season:
• 1 training practice per week
• 1 additional hitting session per week
• Tournaments: The tournament schedules will be announced in January of 2025.
• 15u – 7 tournaments
• 16u – 7 tournaments
• 17u – 7 tournaments
• 18u – 5 tournaments
• 10% off individual training sessions at Balls N Strikes
• Use of HitTrax catching, pitching, and hitting technology
• Game uniforms (jerseys, pants, and hat) and practice uniforms (shirt and shorts)
• Organization community service event
• Coaches stipends and costs
• Practice fields
• Use of website for your team
• Online Missouri Bulls store
• Insurance costs
• Team equipment
15u Fee = $2,000
• $400 non-refundable deposit due at the time of commitment to the team in early August, followed by 8 monthly payments of $250.00 between October 1 – May 1.
16u Fee = $2,600
• $400 non-refundable deposit due at the time of commitment to the team in early August, followed by 8 monthly payments of $262.50 between October 1 – May 1.
17u Fee = $2,600
• $400 non-refundable deposit due at the time of commitment to the team in early August, followed by 8 monthly payments of $262.50 between October 1 – May 1.
18u Fee = $1,800
• $400 non-refundable deposit due at the time of commitment to the team in early August, followed by 8 monthly payments between October 1 – May 1.
WE WILL OFFER FUNDRAISING/SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS TO HELP FAMILIES COVER COSTS.
What’s Included for 7u-14u?
• 8 weeks of 1x/week pre-season team training with the instructors at The Dugout between February-April for 13u and under.
• 10 weeks of 1x/week pre-season team training with the instructors at The Dugout from Dec.-Feb. for 14u.
• In season:
• Weekly practice in Cape Girardeau
• Anticipated tournaments (some local, some travel):
• 7u – 4 tournaments
• 8u – 6 tournaments
• 9u – 7 tournaments

• FALL BASEBALL OPTION:
• Participation in fall baseball is highly encouraged.
• A short fall season is a great way to get our teams working together to experience their new level of play.
• It helps us learn areas of strength and weakness to focus on during our winter/spring training.
• Each coach will discuss their fall baseball proposal with their individual team.
• Fall baseball is a separate fee.
• Based on the coach’s plan, fall cost might be approximately $180-$250.
